I have experienced an increase in catcalling just around town in general, even though I have been avoiding going outside unless I need to go to the shop or pharmacy. I have had individual or groups of men approach me or shout out at me more commonly than usual. It just adds to the feeling of the outside not being safe. On 19th May, I went out for the first time in 4 weeks, and went to Boots pharmacy on north rd/queens rd and had two men shouting sexual comments at me, then was approached by another man on my way home. I was already feeling super anxious to go outside and it made me feel intimidated and just reinforced that.
